Accounts are created by adults — a parent or guardian manages their family's profiles, and minors take part through that account or, for volunteer roles that allow it, with a parent or guardian on file. Keep the information on your account accurate, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Programs are offered as described in each listing. Many are free; where there is a fee, it is shown before you register and processed by Stripe. Cancellation windows, credits, and refunds follow the policy stated for each program at registration. If cost is ever a barrier, contact us — scholarships are available.

Taking part in a program or volunteering may require signed waivers or agreements, which you complete in the app. Those signed documents govern participation itself; these terms govern the online service. If a signed form and these terms say different things about participation, the signed form wins.

Applying to volunteer does not guarantee a role. Some roles require training, vetting, or a background check before you can serve. Volunteers follow staff guidance and organizational policies while serving.

When you upload a photo or share information through the service, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us permission to use it to run the service — always within the photo permissions you set in your signed forms and our privacy policy.

The service's design, text, and logos belong to Friendship Circle NJ or its licensors. Please don't reuse them without permission.

We work to keep LifeTown Connect running smoothly, but we may change, add, or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. The service is provided as is.

To the fullest extent New Jersey law allows, Friendship Circle NJ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the online service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Risks related to program participation itself are addressed in the signed waivers, not here.

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it; meaningful changes will be flagged directly.
